2014-2016 – Rostered Teaching Artist – Arizona Commission on the Arts, through outside review chosen for teaching artist roster to develop and teach more creativity and music in the classroom at the community level
2014 – Master Teacher Seminar – invited by the Maricopa County College System to participate as a Master Teacher, teaching teachers to teach, a five-day seminar on best practices in college and university teaching
2013-2014 – Outstanding Adjunct Award – awarded to just three people at Glendale
Community College to honor best practices in the classroom and online, mentorship to students, and best outcomes for students moving through graduation to graduate school
2014 – American Prize – Judges’ Citation for Excellence in Creative Expression, Song of the Anasazi
2013 – Miriam Gideon Award – Awarded from the International Alliance for Women in Music for excellence in creativity, String Quartet No. 2, Songs of the Night Wind
2007-2008 - Faith Partners Composer Residency - created six pieces for two churches, to be shared throughout the Faith Partners Historical Consortium
