The Commissioning Process
When commissioning a work, both the commissioner and the composer enter the journey with anticipation. Dr. Kilstofte spends about 15 hours writing, proofreading, and engraving one minute of music. This commitment ensures that the piece will be well-crafted and meticulously presented. All works are published through Kaska Publishing, which includes the printing, engraving, and part extraction as part of the commissioning fee. The commissioning fee can be flexible and adjusted according to your budget, ensuring the process is accessible and enjoyable for everyone involved.
